A: Complete food and beverage service will be provided by Greenville County Rec or a Greenville County Rec contractor at baseball and softball complexes. Tournament directors may offer their own concessions at rectangular field complexes, with written permission from Greenville County Rec.
A: Admission at the gate is up to the tournament director and Greenville County Rec remains uninvolved in the admission process during that time. A tournament director may collect gate fees if he/she chooses to do so, with permission from Greenville County Rec.
A: For baseball/softball complexes, all fields must be rented together. For rectangular field tournaments, rentals are handled on a field-by-field basis.
A: The DEPOSIT (20% of your total amount due for the year) is due when you accept your event rental offer and submit your rental agreement. This is non-refundable.
The REMAINING BALANCE is due at least five (5) business days prior to the start of your event.
A: There is a midnight curfew at all tournament facilities.
A: For baseball/softball tournaments, the fields will be groomed and lined once each morning, and once midday, which is included in the cost for all youth and adult tournaments.
A: Greenville County Rec may require security at an event, or the USER may request security be provided. All security is provided by Greenville County Sheriff’s Officers, and must be arranged by Greenville County Rec. The fee to the USER is $40 per person, per hour
A: The USER is responsible for having first aid equipment, supplies, and medical personnel on site. Ice for injuries may be obtained at the concessions stand by medical personnel.
- Glass bottles and fireworks are prohibited.
- Possession and use of alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited.
- Use or discharge of any type of firearm, air gun, slingshot, or bow & arrow is prohibited.
- Use of motorized model airplanes, model rockets and the like is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and within 100 feet of playgrounds, athletic fields, spectator areas, and other gatherings/large groups of people.

A: In the case of inclement weather overnight or during the day of play, play will be delayed or halted for two (2) hours. No work will take place on the fields during this two-hour period. Once that time has passed, GREENVILLE COUNTY REC employees will assess the field conditions and make a final decision about whether play can continue. If the fields are not playable after two hours, the tournament will be cancelled for that day. Play may resume the following day, if already scheduled. If field conditions are unsafe for play due to inclement weather before the tournament begins, Greenville County Rec reserves the right to prohibit play and cancel games for that day.
If the tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather, the USER will be offered an alternate date, if available, or a refund. If an event is started but cannot be completed due to inclement weather or other uncontrollable conditions, the USER will be offered an alternate date, if available, or a pro-rated refund.
